One for the girls class

Crafting is the perfect activity for this frosty weather. There is nothing like staying inside with the heater on, playing with paper and stamps while its cold outside. And, if you would like some inspiration, why not come along to the class this Saturday where we will be making these girly projects.

First up is this cupcake card using the twitterpated fabric and matching papers.
Dont worry, everything is cut out with a punch for this.

Then we will be making this ever so cute jeans card inspired by one my lovely downline Jenny showed me. Very easy to make, and contains a little birthday message in the pocket.

Then we have this super quick pink card using the framelits and some beautiful vellum.

To finish with we will be making this small decorated box, with a little birthday surprise inside.

A decorated tealight which looks like a birthday cake. And lots of room to write a personal message if you like.

I think I have just the person in mind for this. I'm sure she will love it.

If you would like to come along this Saturday at 10am you are more than welcome. Class cost is only $20 and includes everything, all materials, tools and morning tea.
Classes are relaxed, and there is always lots of chatting going on. Beginners are most welcome. Infact I usually find its the beginners who finish first and create the most amazing work! If you would like to attend please email me to let me know so I can prepare the kit for you.

Emergency pouch

This is a little something to pop in the purse with a few emergency items.

I included some tissues and cotton buds and a home made sewing kit.

There is also room for important notes or a gift card.
Instructions for this are on the Scor Pal website. (Its a photo holder on the site).
It uses one sheet of paper and only some simple folding.

Everything flowers class

I totally love flower stamps, and the free set available this month with a $125 purchase is no exception. I have used one of the stamps from it here on this sympathy card. It's always handy to have a sympathy card in the cupboard.

This card (which looks a bit terrible in the photo) is very shimmery, with lots of added sparkle..... the gold looks an awful colour in the photo! To stamp the flower we are using a handmade stamp pad.

I love being able to whip a box for a gift whenever I need one. The new simply scored makes this so easy to do. I will be giving you an easy tip for making a lid that fits every time.

Lots of little cards to fill your box will be fun to make with some colouring. So therapeutic.
I have visions of us making four little envelopes to go in the box too....just waiting for something to arrive to help us make them. It will definitely be here by next Wednesday.
I am offering this class on Wednesday the 13th and Saturday 23rd at 10am and cost is $20. If you would like to attend please email me so I can prepare a kit for you.

Petal cone box

I have been meaning to post this little box for ages.... the pic has been sitting on my desktop for ever. It was made with the petal cone die. Simple, easy and cute.
Now this is a bit of an expensive die.....but this month is definitely the month to think about it. Why? I'll let you know in the next post.
