Easter boxes class

With Easter not too far away, I decided to base this class on making some cute little boxes to hold a few eggs. All of them are easy to make, so I know you will want to go home and make a whole family.
First up is this cute bunny and birdhouse. The birdhouse uses the milk carton die, which makes this so quick to construct and the bunny uses the two tags die..I can't decide which one to give to who...maybe a birdhouse for each of the teachers and the bunny for my niece.

Next are these easy to make carrots. After lots of trial and error I have worked out a way to construct these so you can get the eggs out without wrecking the box...I hate to see hand crafted items destroyed.

And lastly these chick boxes which my kids just love. I'll have to give them one each for Easter or I'll be in trouble. These were an idea I cased from Tammy Beaver.
If you would like to attend the class on Saturday the 25th or Wednesday the 29th February at 10am please email me so I can prepare a kit for you. The class shouldn't take too long so you will still have the afternoon for chores. Cost is $20 and includes all materials and tools.

Too lazy to put away a scrap

Just stopping by to show you a really simple quick card. You see, the other night I spent hours making a lovely 50th card and then looked at this beautiful scrap of moccha morning speciality paper laying on the desk... then rather than expend energy putting it away (I'm so lazy, its dreadful!)I thought it would make a great simple card. The paper is so nice on its own, with the beautiful velvety feel that I did not want to do much to take away from it. Just added a stamped greeting and some satin ribbon and voila.
I have also been working on next weeks class. Lots of lovely boxes for easter. I think you might love them. I'm hooked and having so much fun making them.

Hearts and Flowers class

February is always associated with hearts, so for the classes this week I thought I would not break with tradition but flow along with what is a beautiful shape and incorporate them into the projects, along with a few flowers for good measure.
Using fabric, a handmade flower adorns the front of this card and has a sweet little surprise inside.
A fabric banner swings to life when the card is opened.

This card is inspired from one in the catalogue and uses fabric and felt to create some lovely texture.

Some muti coloured embossing is an easy way to create a card with a difference. You'll love how easy this is to do. Other greetings will be available too.

And lastly a more traditional card. Its hard to see in the photo but the scalloped square has stuffing incorporated in it to give great dimension. Best of all it can not be crushed in the mail. You won't have to use the valentine greeting in the class, I have lots of other greetings to choose from if this is not appropriate for you.

This class is on offer Wednesday 8th February at 10am and Saturday 11th February at 10.30am. Cost is $20 and is all inclusive. Please email me so I can prepare materials for you.

Fresh Vintage

Another quick card we made at my recent SAB launch. This time we used the Fresh Vintage Stamp set, available free with any $100 purchase. And I couldn't help but get out those rusty little tags again. I love those.
